Hi, all! As you may know, my 23rd birthday is on October 13. If you were planning on giving me a gift this year, I am so grateful to you — and I also kindly ask that you instead give to those who are struggling the most in the Black trans community through the Black Trans Advocacy Coalition.

Black trans folks face systemic racism and transphobia throughout so many facets of life, from housing to healthcare. The struggles of the pandemic have only exacerbated these issues. We owe so much to Black trans individuals, and we owe it to them to give what we can in a stressful time of need.

Black lives matter. Black trans lives matter.
