The Black Trans Advocacy Conference Attendee Scholarship & Fundrising Program is created to help provide transgender people in minority communities nationwide, access to the conference educational and empowerment experience. The scholarship program provides an opportunity for trans people to not only participate in an educational program but to also connect local communities with our mission of social equality.

As always, we are striving to include as many people as possible in the conference. We know that many individuals cannot afford the expense of traveling to the conference, yet it is vitally important that a conference of this focus be reached.  Check Out the available fundraiser and scholarship opportunities below.

Attendee Scholarship & Fundraiser Opportunities

You may start a conference fundraiser on our network to Raise Funds, up to $800 to cover the cost of your participation in the conference Empowerment Summit. All funds due by February 29.

  • First Time Attendee Scholarship: provides the transgender community with partial scholarships of either hotel or general registration to participate in the conference for the fist time to support their personal development

 

  • Empowerment Summit Scholarship: provides the transgender community a Full 5-night room share and general registration scholarship to participate in the empowerment summit program focused on personal identity development and wellness.

 

  • Advocacy Summit Scholarship: provides the transgender community a Full 5-night room share and general registration scholarship to participate in the advocacy summit program focused on community leadership training for health, housing, employment, anti violence, mentor advocates.

 

  • Minister Bobbie Jean Baker Scholarship: provides transgender women who reside in the State of California with partial scholarships of either hotel or general registration scholarship to participate in the conference program
