As a QPOC raised in the U.S. I owe a lot of my freedoms, privilages, and happiness to the black trans community. From the Civil Rights Movement to the Stonewall Riots and beyond, this community has paved the way for us to live our lives with the freedom and opportunity that we do. But the Black Trans community is one of the most marginalized groups in the states; facing less opportunities for jobs, housing, and health care & higher rates of acts of violence committed against them. We need to defend Black Trans people. Please donate to my birthday fundraiser, and help me give back to the community that has supported us.
