You’re invited to our benefit recital in support of the National Black Trans Advocacy Coalition’s COVID-19 Community Response Fund! Our recital video, featuring works in the public domain by Black poets and composers will be shared on Facebook on September 20th at 5 PM.

Black Trans Lives Matter, and they’re often those most at risk. Please save what you can to donate. Here’s a description of the fund’s mission:

“Black Trans COVID-19 Community Response Fund provides the transgender community rapid response funds for emergency food, shelter, utilities, transportation, and health care, also free care packages that include life-saving PPE, personal hygiene and safe sex supplies and referral to resources for our most vulnerable populations at their point of need during the coronavirus pandemic.”

(These views and statements are all made in the name of the Beta Alpha chapter. These are not official statements from Mu Phi Epsilon.)
