New Health Service Program
BTAC has launched a new health services and resources program to help the trans community access:
- Dedicated Healthcare Specialist
- Trans-friendly medical and behavioral health providers
- Annual Doctor’s Visits
- Mental Health Counseling Sessions
- HIV/STI Testing
- Gender-affirming care/Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
- Insurance Assistance
- Health products, such as chest binders, STP/Packers, etc.
- Travel to health appointments

LGBTQ Health Awareness Week: March 21 – 25, 2022
In honor of LGBTQ Health Awareness Week, BTAC is giving out free face masks and safe sex care packages to those who sign up between March 21-31, 2022.

Black Trans Women Inc – Women’s Health Surgery Grant
Black Trans Women Inc (BTWI) supports women in their safe and healthy transition journey. This grant serves low-income black trans women across the United States who are in need of gender affirming surgeries. BTWI will pay up to $1000 for surgery cost.
HIV/AIDS Testing with Planned Parenthood
If you are planning on getting an HIV/AIDS test, then there’s no better place than at Planned Parenthood where you can get it done without any hassle!
We have teamed up with them for providing low-cost and confidential tests for our members so that everyone gets tested regularly! In the State of Texas? From 3/14 to 3/31, present this card to one of their locations so they know you were referred by BTAC.
Black Trans Men Inc. Top Surgery and Health Product Grants
As a part of the Black Trans Men Inc. (BTMI) mission to improve the health and well-being of the people in the communities it serves, BTMI is offering a grant of up to $1000 to assist with the financial obligation for undergoing elective gender affirming top surgery for Black and African American trans men.
